Four high schoolers learn that their choices have consequences,
even - and especially - when they decide not to choose.

Steel is a bullying drug dealer whose insecurities make him aggressive and demanding with everyone in his life. He's short-tempered and violent, and his girlfriend, Lisa, is his only saving grace. She's grieving the loss of her older brother, and her confusion reveals Steel's caring sensitivity. Being with Lisa makes him want to be a better person, to think about the future, and to maybe even stop selling.

But Steel's ex-girlfriend, Linsey, isn't buying any of it. She's bitter and resentful of Steel's relationship with Lisa - but not because she wants him back. Linsey knows the truth about Steel: He's an ruthless asshole, and rotten to the core. As far as Linsey's concerned Steel doesn't deserve to be happy, and Lisa is an idiot if she thinks she's going to turn his life around.   When she discovers Lisa is two-timing Steel Linsey offers her the chance to fess up and tries to warn her about her boyfriend. Lisa blows off the advice and Linsey takes her chance crush Steel's world with the truth.  But losing Lisa only turns Steel into a bigger prick than he was before, and Linsey's fed up with his behavior. She's tired of everyone she's close to always giving into his control - especially TJ. When the opportunity arises to take Steel down, and Linsey jumps at the chance. She's determined to get her menacing ex-boyfriend out of her life once and for all.
